Kevin Klimas, president and founder of Phoenix-based employment screening firm Clarifacts, was recently elected vice-chair of the Background Screening Credentialing Council (BSCC) of the National Association of Professional Background Screeners (NAPBS). Klimas was elected to the one-year term by members of the BSCC and is a founding member of NAPBS.

Kevin Klimas, president and founder of Phoenix-based employment screening firm Clarifacts, was recently seated on the first ever Background Screening Credentialing Council (BSCC) by the National Association of Professional Background Screeners (NAPBS). The BSCC was created to ensure accredited firms meet or exceed standards of competency in integrity, security, consumer privacy and legal compliance.

Clarifacts, a Phoenix-based employment screening company, is offering a special package for volunteer background checks throughout the month of April. The package is available to 501c3 organizations and includes a social security trace, county criminal record search, sex offender registry search and USA criminal search for only $15.

The first quarter of 2008 brought an increase in staff and an office addition to Clarifacts, due in large part to new client growth.

Clarifacts Inc., a Phoenix-based employment screening company providing background checks for human resource professionals and business owners looking to hire and retain the best possible employees, today announced it was recently endorsed by the Arizona Dental Association as a preferred vendor for employment screening services. 

In September, Kevin Klimas was elected to the Board of Directors for the Arizona Small Business Association (ASBA), an organization dedicated to the development, growth and success of business owners in Arizona.

The book, Common Sense Business, from HarperBusiness Publishing, hit the store shelves on July 26 and includes a great deal of information from Kevin in the chapter on employees.
