- Social Security Trace
A social security number trace is the cornerstone of every criminal record check. Social security number traces provide us with the in-depth information needed to conduct thorough criminal background checks, including verifying the name of the cardholder, identifying any other names the cardholder may have used and finding current and previous addresses, which are essential for researching criminal history. We then utilize this information to perform more valuable, in-depth criminal record checks. - Driving Record History (MVR)
Recommended for your applicants in a driving position whether in a company or personal vehicle. Driving record reports are available in all 50 states. We verify the validity of an applicant's driver's license including violations, suspensions and revocations, type of license and restrictions, if any. For all applicants considered for financial positions, or positions with access to large amounts of cash or other sensitive company information. Credit history reports provide a profile of your applicant's personal financial management history – including indebtedness, payment history and public record information such as tax liens, judgments and bankruptcies. Inquiries are reported as for “employment purposes” and are in compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act. - County Civil Record Search
We provide civil research in every county throughout the United States. A county civil record search will help you verify whether the applicant has appeared as a plaintiff or defendant in a civil action. Civil record search reports include the type of case, style of case, case number, filing date, disposition date, disposition and the amount. - Office of Inspector General's (OIG) Exclusion List Search
This report identifies individuals and entities excluded from participation in Medicare, Medicaid and other federal healthcare programs. The information verified includes name, specialty, exclusion type, and date of exclusion. - Fraud and Abuse Control Information System (FACIS)
This search identifies individuals or entities that are prohibited from participating in government programs as well as information on fraud abuse specific to the healthcare industry. The FACIS database, which consists of over 400,000 records of sanctioned healthcare providers, is compiled from over 800 government agencies including the DHHS OIG, State Medicaid Fraud Control Units, Licensing/Disciplinary Agencies, DEA, FDA and GSA. - OFAC SDN List Search
This search identifies individuals on the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons (SDN) list, which includes known terrorists, terrorist supporters, international narcotics traffickers and those engaged in activities related to the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. - Adverse Action Assistance
If you deny employment/promotion based in whole or in part on the information contained in the background verification report, we will perform the required FCRA adverse action compliance steps. Pre-adverse and adverse action letters are mailed, along with a copy of the consumer/investigative report and Summary of Rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, in a timely and confidential manner.
